In accordance with Section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, the University has adopted without modification the Publication Scheme prepared and approved by the Information Commissioner.
The University has followed the Information Commissioner’s Definition Document for Universities in setting out the information it makes available in accordance with the Publication Scheme.
The University is committed to openness and transparency and to making the following classes of information available to the public.

Information which will not be provided under the Scheme will include:
Information will be published in Welsh in accordance with the University’s Welsh Language Scheme.
Information will be provided upon request, in other formats in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
Most of the information is available on the University website, free of charge. If it is not practical to make information available on the website, information will be made available in hard copy on request. A charge may be made to cover photocopying, postage and packaging if the cost exceeds £10. Charges will be based on current USW Print and Design photocopying charges and Royal Mail postage rates. These charges will also apply to requests from enquirers without Internet access, for hard copies of material which is available through the website.
